Pursuant to a notice posted on April 5, 2013, the House Committee on Criminal Procedure Reform, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Riddle, at 2:32 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Riddle; Carter; Herrero; Moody; and Parker.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 2804.

 

The chair recognized Representative Parker to explain HB 2804.

The chair recognized Representative Parker to close on HB 2804.

 

The chair moved that HB 2804, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
