Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 1, 2013, and permission granted on May 1, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on International Trade & Intergovernmental Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Anchia, at 2:04 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Anchia; Lozano; Creighton; Nevárez; and Perez.

The chair laid out HR 1194.

 

The chair recognized Representative Vo to explain HR 1194.

 

The chair recognized Representative Vo to close on HR 1194.

 

Representative Perez moved that HR 1194, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           None (0).

The chair laid out HB 1130 as pending business.

 

Representative Nevárez offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
