Pursuant to a notice posted on March 1, 2013, and a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on March 6, 2013 the House Committee on Appropriations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 8:45 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Pitts; Turner, Sylvester; Ashby; Bell; Bonnen, Greg; Darby; Davis, Sarah; Giddings; Gonzales, Larry; Howard; Hughes; King, Susan; Longoria; Márquez; Otto; Patrick, Diane; Perry; Price; Raney; Ratliff; and Zerwas.

 

A quorum was present.
