Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 6, 2013, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Tracy O., at 12:00 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives King, Tracy O.; Anderson; González, Mary; Kacal; Kleinschmidt; and Springer.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

The chair directed that the April 24, 2013 minutes for the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

SB 1427

 

The chair laid out SB 1427, the companion to HB 2995.

 

The chair moved that SB 1427, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives King, Tracy O.; Anderson; González, Mary; Kacal; Kleinschmidt; Springer (6).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative White (1).

 

At 12:03 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
