Pursuant to a notice posted on February 7, 2013, and permission granted on February 12, 2013, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Appropriations - S/C on Articles I, IV, & V met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner, Sylvester, at 7:32 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Turner, Sylvester; Gonzales, Larry; King, Susan; Longoria; Orr; and Perry.

 

A quorum was present.

The subcommittee heard testimony from the Legislative Budget Board.

 

At 9:16 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until during reading and referral of bills.

 

The committee reconvened at 12:25 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner, Sylvester.
