No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Human Resources Code, Chapter 42, relating to the regulation of child-care facilities.  The bill would require certain child-care facilities to develop and implement a policy to protect the children in its care from vaccine-preventable diseases. The Department of Family and Protective Services indicates that the bill could be implemented within existing appropriations.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
