SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 637
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Rachel Cedillo, who is retiring May 31, 2013, from the
  United States Probation Office, Western District of Texas, after
  more than 20 years of outstanding service; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Cedillo began her career as a probation
  officer in 1992; she rose through the ranks to become Senior
  United States Probation Officer in the Del Rio Division; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout her career, she has been noted for her
  professionalism and commitment to duty; as a senior officer, she
  has instilled in her staff the importance of such values as
  dedication and a strong work ethic; and
         WHEREAS, Talented and resourceful, she has handled her
  many responsibilities with exceptional efficiency and skill; in
  addition to her work with the probation office, she has
  participated in numerous school and church activities with her
  family; and
         WHEREAS, An exemplary public servant, she is respected and
  admired by her colleagues, and her presence at the Del Rio
  Division of the United States Probation Office will be greatly
  missed; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
  83rd Legislature, hereby commend Rachel Cedillo on her
  outstanding service as a Senior United States Probation Officer
  and extend to her best wishes for continued success in all her
  endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
