  S.B. No. 111
 
 
 
 
AN ACT
  relating to the designation of Texas Historical Use Buildings.
         BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
         SECTION 1.  Section 442.006, Government Code, is amended by
  adding Subsection (d-1) to read as follows:
         (d-1)  The commission shall specially designate as a Texas
  Historical Use Building that is considered worthy of preservation
  because of its history, culture, or architecture a building that:
               (1)  is currently used regularly for a purpose that
  benefits the community in which the building is located, as
  determined by the commission; and
               (2)  has been used regularly for the purpose described
  by Subdivision (1) for at least 150 years.
         SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2013.
