R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Steve
  K. Kaiser of Silsbee, who passed away on April 15, 2013, at the age
  of 62; and
         WHEREAS, A native of Wellington, Kansas, Mr. Kaiser served
  his country in the U.S. Army; following his return to civilian
  life, he contributed to his hometown as a firefighter and emergency
  medical technician; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Kaiser settled in Silsbee in the mid-1980s, and
  he co-owned The Wash House with his wife, Aletha; he also had a
  notable career in the rail industry that spanned more than three
  decades, working for Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway and
  Union Pacific Railroad; and
         WHEREAS, Devoted to his loved ones, Mr. Kaiser was the father
  of five children, Stacy, Karen, Cyndie, Steve, and Bryan, and he had
  the pleasure of seeing his family grow to include 13 grandchildren;
  and
         WHEREAS, Although Steve Kaiser will be deeply missed, he
  leaves behind memories of many happy times spent in his company to
  comfort all those who knew and loved him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Steve K. Kaiser and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife of
  33 years, Aletha Kaiser; to his daughters, Stacy Hawks and her
  husband, Cole, Karen Fant and her husband, Boyd, and Cyndie Hicks;
  to his sons, Steve J. Kaiser and Bryan Treese and his wife, Niki; to
  his 13 grandchildren, Colby, Mason, Dalton, Josie, Kade, Kirsten,
  Kailey, Kaleb, Lauren, Garrett, Hayden, Davis, and Chance; to his
  brothers, Mark Kaiser and Roger Kaiser; to his sisters, Jamie
  Richter and her husband, Jim, and Kathy Kaiser; and to his other
  relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Steve
  Kaiser.
