R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
passing of Leland Ray Walding of Livingston on April 5, 2013, at the |
|
age of 80; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Walding was born in Montgomery County on |
|
December 10, 1932, to Lewis and Etta Walding; as a young man, he |
|
married Syble Walding, and the couple were blessed with two |
|
children, Connie and Douglas; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through the years, Mr. Walding also served as a |
|
source of wisdom and inspiration to his granddaughter, Jessica, and |
|
his grandson, Brian; and |
|
WHEREAS, Leland Walding treasured the time he spent in the |
|
company of his family and friends, and those he leaves behind will |
|
forever carry their memories of him close in their hearts; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Leland Ray Walding and |
|
extend sincere sympathy to his daughter, Connie Walding; to his |
|
son, Douglas Walding, and his wife, Melissa; to his brother, Bruce |
|
Walding, and his wife, Nancy; to his grandchildren, Jessica and |
|
Brian Walding; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Leland Ray |
|
Walding. |
