R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
|
passing of Joyce Marie Evans of Houston on December 30, 2012, at the |
|
|
age of 80; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joyce Evans was born on October 30, 1932, in |
|
|
Anniston, Missouri; she shared 60 happy years with her husband, |
|
|
Daniel Evans, who preceded her in death, and the couple were blessed |
|
|
with four children, Judy, Brenda, Linda, and Danny; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This beloved matriarch was devoted to her loved ones |
|
|
and served as a source of wisdom and inspiration to her eight |
|
|
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Joyce Evans treasured the time she spent in the |
|
|
company of her family and friends, and those she leaves behind will |
|
|
in turn cherish their memories of this kind and caring woman; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Joyce Marie Evans and |
|
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|
|
children, Judy Faterkowski and her husband, Phil, Brenda Mohr, |
|
|
Linda Bohac and her husband, Greg, and Danny Evans; to her |
|
|
grandchildren, April Hiemstra and her husband, Nicholas, Dustin |
|
|
Faterkowski and his wife, Sandra, Chrystal Smith and her husband, |
|
|
Shawn, Tiffany Taylor and her husband, Adam, Angie Eller and her |
|
|
husband, Andrew, Britney Bohac, and Drew and Tye Evans; to her |
|
|
great-grandchildren, Brandon and Nicole Hiemstra, Kalyn Smith, |
|
|
Brileigh Taylor, and Evan Eller; and to her other relatives and |
|
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Joyce Marie |
|
|
Evans. |
