H.R. No. 1319
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, The citizens of Jasper County lost a dedicated
  public servant with the passing of Constable Tommy Robinson of
  Evadale on March 4, 2013, at the age of 68; and
         WHEREAS, A United States Army veteran, Mr. Robinson served in
  Vietnam before embarking on a career in law enforcement that would
  span nearly 45 years; over the course of his tenure, he would serve
  with distinction as a deputy and investigator under five Jasper
  County sheriffs; and
         WHEREAS, Tommy Robinson was appointed to his post as the
  constable of Precinct 6 by the Jasper County Commissioners Court in
  2006 to fill an unexpired term, and he was twice returned to that
  office by local voters; and
         WHEREAS, Constable Robinson was devoted to his family, which
  includes his wife, Robin Robinson, and his son, Mark Mueller; and
         WHEREAS, Treasured by his family and by his many friends in
  the community, Tommy Robinson will be deeply missed, but the
  generosity and compassion with which he lived his life will ensure
  he will long be remembered by all who had the good fortune to know
  him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Constable Tommy
  Robinson and extend sincere sympathy to his wife, Robin Robinson,
  to his son, Mark Mueller, and to his other friends and relatives;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Constable
  Tommy Robinson.
