H.R. No. 1080
         WHEREAS, Drew Keeney and Miles Milliorn of Lorena High School
  won the doubles event at the Rocket Invitational Tennis Tournament
  on February 15, 2013, in Waco; and
         WHEREAS, Facing competitors from Class 2A through Class 5A
  schools, these outstanding young athletes took four consecutive
  matches under the eight-game pro set format to win the competition;
         WHEREAS, In their first two contests, Mr. Keeney, a senior,
  and Mr. Milliorn, a junior, defeated Midway 8-5 and San Saba 8-2;
  after moving on to the semifinals, they fell behind by a score of
  2-6 to Rockdale and were threatened with elimination, but the pair
  rallied to take seven of the next eight games for a 9-7 triumph; in
  the finals, they carried off the trophy by beating the Waco High
  School team 8-5; and
         WHEREAS, The hard work and commitment to excellence
  demonstrated by Mr. Keeney and Mr. Milliorn have helped them to
  become a formidable force on the tennis court, and they may take
  justifiable pride in their accomplishment; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Drew Keeney and Miles Milliorn of
  Lorena High School on winning the doubles competition at the Rocket
  Invitational Tennis Tournament and extend to them sincere best
  wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
  for Mr. Keeney and Mr. Milliorn as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
