A JOINT RESOLUTION
|

|
proposing a constitutional amendment to repeal the constitutional |
|
|
order of business that restricts the matters the legislature may |
|
|
consider during different stages of a regular legislative session. |
|
|
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Sections 5(b) and (c), Article III, Texas |
|
|
Constitution, are repealed. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This proposed constitutional amendment shall be |
|
|
submitted to the voters at an election to be held November 5, 2013. |
|
|
The ballot shall be printed to provide for voting for or against the |
|
|
proposition: "The constitutional amendment to repeal the |
|
|
constitutional order of business that restricts the matters that |
|
|
the legislature may consider during different stages of a regular |
|
|
legislative session." |
