AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the power of the Nueces County Road District No. 4 to |
|
|
lease or sell land. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subtitle B, Title 5, Special District Local Laws |
|
|
Code, is amended by adding Chapter 5202 to read as follows: |
|
|
CHAPTER 5202. NUECES COUNTY ROAD DISTRICT NO. 4 |
|
|
SUBCHAPTER A. GENERAL PROVISIONS |
|
|
Sec. 5202.001. DEFINITION. In this chapter, "district" |
|
|
means the Nueces County Road District No. 4. |
|
|
SUBCHAPTER B. DISTRICT POWERS |
|
|
Sec. 5202.051. AUTHORITY TO LEASE OR SELL LAND. The |
|
|
district may lease or sell land that is no longer used for district |
|
|
purposes. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2013. |
