Amend CSHB 1025 (house committee printing) by adding the following appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly:

SECTION ____.  REPORT REGARDING FEDERAL FUNDING OF STATE AGENCIES. It is the intent of the legislature that not later than November 20, 2013, for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2013, and November 20, 2014, for the state fiscal year ending August 31, 2014, a state agency receiving appropriations under this Act or Chapter 1355 (HB 1), Acts of the 82nd Legislature, Regular Session, 2011 (the General Appropriations Act), shall submit a report explaining the amount of federal funding the agency uses to fund agency operations to the governor, the comptroller of public accounts, the Legislative Reference Library, the state auditor, and the Legislative Budget Board.
