SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 50
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
  recognize Danielle Bradbery of Cypress, who has been named the
  winner of season four of The Voice; and
 
         WHEREAS, Danielle became the show's youngest champion at 16
  years of age and the third consecutive winner for her mentor,
  Blake Shelton; and
 
         WHEREAS, Danielle's impressive blind audition drew rave
  reviews from three of the show's judges, and her performances,
  which included country music ballads and midtempo songs, made her
  a favorite of judges and fans alike; and
 
         WHEREAS, Over the course of the season, she amassed more
  than 70,000 Facebook likes and more than 138,000 Twitter
  followers; and
 
         WHEREAS, Winning this prestigious competition offers her
  the opportunity to fulfill her dream of becoming a singing star
  by providing her with a recording contract; she is truly
  deserving of recognition for her exceptional talent and her hard
  work; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend Danielle
  Bradbery on winning season four of The Voice and extend to her
  best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be
  it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
