SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 88
 
 
  In Memory
  of
  William H. Broadus, Jr.
 
         WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens
  of San Antonio in mourning the loss of William H. Broadus, Jr.,
  who died May 29, 2013; and
 
         WHEREAS, William Broadus was an exemplary citizen who was
  widely respected and admired in his community for his many
  achievements; and
 
         WHEREAS, He enriched the lives of all those who knew him
  with his courage in the face of adversity and his commitment to
  others; and
 
         WHEREAS, A man of strength, compassion, and generosity, he
  gave unselfishly to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued
  counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him; and
 
         WHEREAS, He was devoted to his loving family, and he leaves
  behind memories that will be treasured forever by all who were
  privileged to share in his life; now, therefore, be it
 
         RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd
  Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend sincere
  condolences to the bereaved family of William H. Broadus, Jr.;
  and, be it further
 
         RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
  his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas
  Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in
  memory of William H. Broadus, Jr.
