William H. Broadus, Jr. |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the citizens |
|
of San Antonio in mourning the loss of William H. Broadus, Jr., |
|
who died May 29, 2013; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, William Broadus was an exemplary citizen who was |
|
widely respected and admired in his community for his many |
|
achievements; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, He enriched the lives of all those who knew him |
|
with his courage in the face of adversity and his commitment to |
|
others; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A man of strength, compassion, and generosity, he |
|
gave unselfishly to others, and his wisdom, warmth, and valued |
|
counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew him; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, He was devoted to his loving family, and he leaves |
|
behind memories that will be treasured forever by all who were |
|
privileged to share in his life; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd |
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby extend sincere |
|
condolences to the bereaved family of William H. Broadus, Jr.; |
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|
Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|
memory of William H. Broadus, Jr. |
