SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 37
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |
|
|
recognize Lee G. Hobbs, who has been named chief information |
|
|
officer for TransCanada; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, TransCanada is a leader in the development and |
|
|
operation of North American energy infrastructure, including |
|
|
natural gas and oil pipelines, power generation, and gas storage |
|
|
facilities; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hobbs is a chartered accountant with the |
|
|
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta and holds a |
|
|
bachelor of commerce degree, with distinction, from the |
|
|
University of Calgary; and |
| |
|
|
WHEREAS, His financial expertise and executive experience |
|
|
have played an important role in the growth and success of |
|
|
TransCanada, and he is truly deserving of recognition for his |
|
|
outstanding contributions to the company; now, therefore, be it |
| |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 83rd |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Lee G. Hobbs on |
|
|
his exemplary achievements and extend to him best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
| |
|
|
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|
|
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate. |
