Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Subcommittee on Medicaid was held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, in the Betty King Committee Room at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

The chair called the Office of the Inspector General to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

 

The chair called the Texas Health and Human Services Commission to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

 

The chair called the Office of the Attorney General to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

 

The chair called the Legislative Budget Board to provide invited testimony (see attached witness list).

 

 

There being no further business, at 10:46 AM Senator Nelson moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the chair.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
