Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.10 and 11.18, a public hearing of the Senate Committee on Finance was held on Monday, February 28, 2011, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, at Austin, Texas.

The chair called the meeting to order at 3:21 PM.  The following business was transacted:

 

SB 1 was laid out as pending business.

 

Senator Hinojosa assumed the chair.

 

Testimony was taken on the SB 1 – Article VI.  Witnesses testifying and registering are shown on the attached list.

Animal Health Commission

 

Soil and Water Conservation Board

 

Water Development Board

            Debt Service Payments – Non-Self Supporting G.O. Water Bonds

 

Senator Hinojosa moved that SB 1 be left pending.  Without objection, it was so ordered.

 

There being no further business, at 5:52 PM Senator Hinojosa moved that the Committee stand recessed until 30 minutes upon adjournment of the Senate on March 1, 2011.  Without objection, it was so ordered.
