Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on
March 9, 2011 and permission to meet while the House is in session during bill
referral on March 9, 2011, the House Committee on State Sovereignty, Select met
in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative
Creighton, at 12:03 p.m.
The initial quorum call was answered as follows:
Representatives Creighton; Darby; Miller, Sid; Pitts; and Thompson.
A quorum was present.
HCR 18
The chair laid out HCR 18 as pending business.
The chair explained HCR 18.
The chair closed on HCR 18.
Representative Darby moved that HCR 18, without
amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation
that it do pass and be printed. The
motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays: None (0).

The
