CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On April 5, 2011, the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety held on March 22, 2011. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on March 17, 2011,  and a suspension of the 5-day  posting rule on March 21, 2011 to hear HB 1810, the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Miller, Sid, at 2:01 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Miller, Sid; Fletcher; Beck; Burnam; Driver; Flynn; Mallory Caraway; Pena; and Walle.

 

A quorum was present.


 

On March 18, 2011 the chair referred the following bills down to the Subcommittee on Law Enforcement Issues:

HB 100, HB 647, HB 1743, HB 584, HB 1391, HB 2470, HB 1329, HB 2466, HB 2155,

HB 1457.

 

HB 90

 

The chair laid out HB 90 as pending business.

 

The chair explained HB 90.

 

Representative Driver offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Beck moved that HB 90, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Fletcher; Beck; Driver; Flynn; Pena (5).

 

Nays:                           Representative Burnam (1).
