CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On May 9, 2011, the House Committee on Public Health authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on Public Health held on April 26, 2011. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 26, 2011 and pursuant to permission granted for the committee to meet while the house is in session during the reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Public Health met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst, at 7:14 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Kolkhorst; Naishtat; Alvarado; Gonzales, Veronica; King, Susan; Schwertner; and Zerwas.

 

A quorum was present.


 

HB 577

 

The chair laid out HB 577 as pending business.

 

Representative Gonzales, Veronica offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Gonzales, Veronica moved that HB 577, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
