Pursuant to a notice posted on November 9, 2012, the House Committee on Manufacturing, Interim met in a work session and was called to order by the chair, Representative Murphy, at 8:30 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Murphy; Rodriguez, Eddie; Button; Isaac; Johnson; and Munoz, Jr..

 

The committee met at the Greater Houston Partnership building at 1200 Smith Street, Houston, TX 77002 and boarded a bus to the Port of Houston.

 

The committee boarded a pilot’s boat at the Jacintoport general cargo terminal and toured the Port of Houston from the boat.

The committee disembarked from the pilot’s boat and boarded a bus back to the Greater Houston Partnership building.

At 12:36 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
