Pursuant to permission granted to meet while the house is in session and an announcement from the house floor on April 29, 2011, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Thompson, at 1:20 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Thompson; Hancock; Darby; Elkins; Farias; Larson; Marquez; Orr; and Scott.

 

A quorum was present.


 

Representative Larson moved that the floor amendments to HB 1314, HB 1615, HB 2422, HB 2490 and HB 3246 be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Tuesday, May 3, 2011.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Scott moved that the following measures be transferred over to the House  Calendars Committee: HB 83, HB 550,  HB 1316, HB 2944, HB 3068, HB 3140, HB 3431, HJR 92.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Thompson moved that the following measures not be placed on the calendar at this time:  HB 1324, HB 1416, HB 1500, HB 1993, HB 2335, HB 2595, HB 2893, HB 2983, HB 3002, HB 3151, HB 3448, HB 3588, SB 292.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Larson moved that the following measure be transferred over to the House Calendars Committee: HB 2889.  The motion prevailed without objection.
