Pursuant to a notice posted on October 8, 2012, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Branch, at 9:12 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Branch; Howard, Donna; Johnson; and Raney.

 

 

The Chair laid out the following interim study charge:

 

Evaluate proposals for the state's next master plan for higher education beyond 2015, including a review of various metrics to measure successful outcomes in higher education.

 

Testimony taken/registration recorded.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 2:30 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
