Pursuant to a notice posted on May 6, 2011,  revised on May 6, 2011,  and a suspension of the 5-day  posting rule on May 10, 2011 to allow the committee to consider SB 794, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Branch, at 8:46 a.m.
