Pursuant to a notice posted on April 8, 2011,  revised on April 8, 2011, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Branch, at 5:52 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Branch; Castro; Alonzo; Howard, Donna; Lewis; and Patrick, Diane.

 

A quorum was present.


 

The chair directed that the April 7, 2011 minutes for the House Committee on Higher Education be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
