Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and being granted permission to meet while the House was in session on May 10, 2011, the House Committee on Government Efficiency & Reform met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Callegari, at 2:30 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Callegari; Harper-Brown; Munoz, Jr.; and Zedler.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1618.

 

Representative Callegari moved that SB 1618, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Callegari; Harper-Brown; Munoz, Jr.; Zedler (4).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Lucio III; Cain; Frullo (3).

 

At 2:32 p.m., on the motion of Representative Callegari and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
