Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 9, 2011, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, Wayne, at 1:42 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Smith, Wayne; Farrar; Aliseda; Burnam; Chisum; Hancock; Legler; and Reynolds.

The chair explained SB 615.

 

Representative Legler moved that SB 615, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Smith, Wayne; Aliseda; Burnam; Chisum; Hancock; Legler; Reynolds (7).

 

Nays:                           Representative Farrar (1).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representative Lyne (1).

 

HB 2639

 

The chair laid out HB 2639 as pending business.

 

Representative Aliseda offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair explained HB 2639.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Legler moved that HB 2639, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Smith, Wayne; Aliseda; Burnam; Chisum; Hancock; Legler; Reynolds (7).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Farrar; Lyne (2).

 

At 1:46 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
