Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 19, 2011 and permission granted on May 19, 2011 to meet while the house is in session, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Keffer, at 4:30 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Keffer; Carter; Craddick; Davis, John; Howard, Charlie; Lozano; Sheffield; and Strama.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1293 as pending business.

 

Representative Howard, Charlie moved that SB 1293, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
