Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and with permission to meet while the House is in session on May 2, 2011, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Taylor, Larry, at 4:32 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Taylor, Larry; Hernandez Luna; Berman; Burkett; Farias; Isaac; and Veasey.

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the March 28, 2011, April 11, 2011 and April 4, 2011 minutes for the House Committee on Elections be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

At 4:34 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
