Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and with permission granted to meet while the House is in session on April 21, 2011, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Taylor, Larry, at 11:21 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Taylor, Larry; Hernandez Luna; Berman; Branch; Burkett; Isaac; King, Phil; and Veasey.

The chair laid out HB 926 as pending business.

 

Representative Isaac offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
