Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on March 7, 2011 and pursuant to a suspension of the rules to allow all committees to meet while the House is in session during the reading the reading and referral of bills on March 8, 2011, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Coleman, at 12:25 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Coleman; Marquez; Paxton; Smith, Wayne; and White.

 

A quorum was present.

(Representative Jackson, Jim now present.)

At 3:33 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
