Pursuant to a notice posted on May 13, 2011, the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Madden, at 8:33 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Madden; Cain; Hunter; Perry; White; and Workman.

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB 1617.

 

The chair recognized Representative Aliseda to explain SB 1617.

The chair recognized Representative Aliseda to close on SB 1617.

 

Representative Cain moved that SB 1617, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Nays:                           None (0).
