Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 13, 2011, and a suspension of the 5-day  posting rule on April 13, 2011, and permission granted to meet while the House is in session, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 12:11 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Solomons; Villarreal; Alvarado; Aycock; Eissler; Geren; Hunter; Keffer; Madden; Pena; Phillips; Pickett; and Veasey.

 

A quorum was present.
