Pursuant to a notice posted on February 23, 2011, the House Committee on Redistricting met in a public hearing and was called to order by the Chair, Representative Solomons, at 3:05 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Solomons; Alonzo; Alvarado; Aycock; Branch; Eissler; Geren; Hunter; Keffer; Madden; Pena; Phillips; and Pickett.

 

A quorum was present.

 

 

 

The Chairman announced the appointment of a Public Information Officer for the House Committee on Redistricting and requested that all public inquiries for information from the Committee be referred to:
