Pursuant to a notice posted on May 22, 2011, the House Committee on Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hunter, at 5:02 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hunter; Branch; Coleman; Geren; Lucio III; Ritter; Rodriguez, Eddie; Truitt; and Zerwas.

 

A quorum was present.

 

Representative Hunter moved to place the following measures: 

 

on the Constitutional Amendments Calendar for Tuesday, May 24, 2011:  SJR 26.

 

on the General State Calendar for Tuesday, May 24, 2011:  SB 1113, SB 1658, SB 516, SB 1214, SB 497.

 

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Hunter; Branch; Coleman; Geren; Lucio III; Ritter; Rodriguez, Eddie; Truitt; Zerwas (9).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Bonnen; Cook; Keffer; King, Tracy O.; Kolkhorst; Solomons (6).

 

At 5:03 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
