Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 13, 2011, and permission being granted on May 13, 2011 to meet while the House is in session, the House Committee on Border & Intergovernmental Affairs met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Gonzales, Veronica, at 2:38 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Gonzales, Veronica; Weber; Alonzo; Gonzales, Larry; and Hardcastle.

 

A quorum was present.

 

HCR 146

 

The chair laid out HCR 146.

 

Representative Hardcastle moved that HCR 146, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                           Representatives Gonzales, Veronica; Weber; Alonzo; Gonzales, Larry; Hardcastle (5).

 

Nays:                           None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

 

Absent:                        Representatives Farrar; Phillips; Riddle; Simpson (4).

 

At 2:41 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
