Pursuant to a suspension of all necessary rules and permission granted to meet while the House is in session on June 1, 2011, the House Committee on Appropriations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 9:16 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Pitts; Turner; Aycock; Button;  Chisum; Darby; Giddings; Gooden; Hochberg; Johnson; King, Susan; Margo; Miller, Doug; Otto; Patrick, Diane; Schwertner; Shelton; Torres; and Zerwas.
