Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule on March 14, 2011, and being granted permission to meet while the House was in session on March 14, 2011, the House Committee on Appropriations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 2:32 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Pitts; Turner; Aycock; Button; Chisum; Crownover; Darby; Dukes; Giddings; Gooden; Hochberg; King, Susan; Margo; Miller, Doug; Morrison; Otto; Schwertner; Shelton; Torres; Villarreal; and Zerwas.
