Pursuant to a notice posted on February 23, 2011, the House Committee on Appropriations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pitts, at 8:39 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Pitts; Aycock; Button; Chisum; Crownover; Darby; Eiland; Giddings; Gooden; Hochberg; King, Susan; Margo; Martinez, "Mando"; McClendon; Miller, Doug; Otto; Patrick, Diane; Riddle; Schwertner; Shelton; and Torres.

 

A quorum was present.

State Office of Administrative Hearings

 

The chair laid out the subcommittee recommendations for the State Office of Administrative Hearings. 

 

(Representative Morrison now present.)

 

Representative Darby moved to adopt the subcommittee recommendations.  The motion was adopted without objection. 

 

Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners

 

The chair laid out the subcommittee recommendations for the Board of Chiropractic Examiners. 

 

Representative Riddle  moved to adopt the subcommittee recommendations.  The motion was adopted without objection.
