Pursuant to a notice posted on August 29, 2012, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hardcastle, at 9:44 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Hardcastle; Howard, Charlie; Hughes; Isaac; Landtroop; and Lozano.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The Chair addressed the members and attendees regarding interim charge #5 to study the viability of cedar eradication as a means to enhance resource conservation.

The Chair addressed the members and attendees regarding interim charge #6 to monitor agencies and programs under the committee’s jurisdiction and the implementation of relevant legislation passed by the 82nd legislature.

At 11:55 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
