No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated, other than the cost of publication.

The cost to the state for publication of the resolution is $105,495.


The proposed joint resolution would amend the Texas Constitution and provide that a person who successfully completes a term of deferred adjudication community supervision is eligible for a pardon. It is anticipated that any additional costs associated with implementation of the legislation could be absorbed within existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
