R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jason Sutcliffe has been named the 2011 Paramedic of |
|
|
the Year by the Mesquite Fire Department; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A member of the department since 1998, Mr. Sutcliffe |
|
|
earned his paramedic certification in 2000; he has demonstrated |
|
|
professional excellence throughout his career, and in 2010 his |
|
|
exceptional work earned him two Lifesaving Awards; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Sutcliffe has also been honored for his |
|
|
contributions to The University of Texas Southwestern Medical |
|
|
Center Field Internship Training program and for his service in |
|
|
behalf of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Recognized for his dedication, compassion, and |
|
|
expertise, Jason Sutcliffe has won the respect and admiration of |
|
|
his colleagues, and his efforts have helped to ensure the safety and |
|
|
well-being of his fellow citizens; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jason Sutcliffe on his selection as |
|
|
the 2011 Paramedic of the Year by the Mesquite Fire Department and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Sutcliffe as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
