	A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
	AN ACT
	relating to the appointment of bailiffs for certain courts in
	Cameron County.
	BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
	SECTION 1.  Section 53.002, Government Code, is amended by
	adding Subsection (j) to read as follows:
	(j)  Each district or statutory county court judge in Cameron
	County may appoint a bailiff.
	SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2011.
