R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Las Palmas Healthcare Center, an assisted living |
|
|
facility in McAllen, was recently honored with the Public |
|
|
Information and Education Award; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Recognizing accomplishments in media relations and |
|
|
community education, the tribute was presented by the Texas Health |
|
|
Care Association, a professional advocacy group for members of the |
|
|
long-term health care industry; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Las Palmas Healthcare Center has demonstrated a |
|
|
commitment to improving the quality of life for senior citizens, |
|
|
and its dedication to this vital and ever-growing portion of the |
|
|
population is making an immeasurable difference in the community it |
|
|
serves; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby congratulate Las Palmas |
|
|
Healthcare Center on earning the Public Information and Education |
|
|
Award from the Texas Health Care Association and extend to all those |
|
|
associated with the facility sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success with their important efforts; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
