Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with HCR 57, a public hearing of the Select Committee on Public School Finance Weights, Allotments & Adjustments was held on was held on Thursday, September 16, 2010, in the Capitol Extension, Room E1.036, in Austin, Texas.

Representative Eissler called the meeting to order at 10:14 a.m. There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:
Senator Shapiro and Representative Eissler, as Co-Chairs, shared presiding duties throughout the hearing.
Dr. Richard Middleton moved adoption of the minutes from the previous hearing held on May 19, 2010; without objection, it was so ordered.
Senator Shapiro and Representative Eissler made opening remarks to the Committee.
Representative Eissler called the following invited witnesses to provide testimony. See attached list.
At 1:58 p.m. Senator Shapiro assumed the chair.
At 2:05 p.m. Representative Eissler resumed the chair.
At 3:51 p.m. Representative Eissler called persons who registered as public witnesses to provide testimony. See attached list.
There being no further business, at 3:54 p.m. Representative Eissler moved that the Committee stand recessed subject to the call of the Co-Chairs. Without objection, it was so ordered.
