Pursuant to a notice posted in accordance with Senate Rule 11.18, a public hearing of the Joint Committee on Oversight of Bexar Metropolitan Water District was held on Monday, May 10, 2010, in the San Antonio Public Library.

MEMBERS PRESENT:		MEMBERS ABSENT:
Senator Carlos Uresti, Co-chair Representative Frank Corte, Jr., Co-chair Don Durden Rhonda Harris Kevin Wolff		None

Sen. Uresti called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m.  There being a quorum present, the following business was transacted:

 

Sen. Uresti and each of the members made brief opening comments.

 

Witnesses testifying on the BexarMet water district are shown on the attached witness list.

 

The committee, on motion of Sen. Uresti, unanimously consented to a brief recess at 11:08 a.m. The hearing resumed at 11:17 a.m.

 

After testimony from more witnesses on the attached list, the chair moved that public testimony be closed, and without objection, it was so ordered.

 

Several of the members made closing comments.

 

There being no further business, at 1:31 p.m. Sen. Uresti moved that the Committee adjourn. There being no objection, it was so ordered.
